My area of study is BA (Hons.) International Fashion Buying Management and I am currently in search of placement to gain experience and knowledge only industry can provide. I began to further my love of the fashion industry by studying an Extended Diploma in Fashion and Textiles at Leeds College of Art before starting my degree at the University of Huddersfield. During my studies I have taken part in a placement on the buying team of a retail company and participated in a visual merchandising volunteership for a high-street charity store. These experiences have helped develop my understanding of the lifecycle of clothing and assisted in building my confidence in a professional workplace. As my studies have progressed, I have become increasingly interested in the sustainability aspect of fashion and a lot of my work is based around this area.
